Branding and Packaging

Apollo were positioned in the bottom-middle of the housewares market competing with own brand and imports. Rowe Associates developed a brand identity that incorporated recognisable brand language using a lozenge, white out of red text, with a unique modified typeface.

We developed many other elements that could be used across packaging and all communications, primarily the black on white sweep and the roundel. All typefaces and layouts were set out in a handbook.

We also developed several other applications of the logo so it could be applied directly to product. This included a stamp onto wood, a metal pressed version, a distressed version, and a simple stamp for very small applications where text would be impossible due to scale or process.
